Mrs. Alice Dean Joiner, 83, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away on November 16, 2020 at Southwell Health and Rehab in Adel.  She was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia on December 10, 1936 and was the daughter of Delmar and Maudine Mullis Grimsley.  She lived most of her life in Cook County where she was a homemaker and a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Joiner is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law: David and Jackie Joiner of Hahira, Georgia, and Roy Joiner of Sparks; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Steve Williams of Adel; eight grandchildren: Nikki Joiner and Zane Stalvey of Hahira, Matthew and Jessica Joiner of Hahira, Marilyn and Jarred Bullard of Adel, Rebekah Joiner of Adel, Ashlyn J. and Chris Weeks of Adel, Jonathan Joiner of Moultrie, Kaysie W. and Charlie Wiggins of Tifton and Candace Williams of Adel; nine great-grandchildren: Layla Moore, Jackson Bullard, Harper Wynne, Knox Wynne, Stella Joiner, Mallie Joiner, Judd Bullard, Beaun Hinson and Landen Welborn; and two brothers: Dennis Grimsley of Fitzgerald and Freeman Grimsley of Warner Robins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Joiner, Jr.

A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Joiner will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating.  Jack and Bettye Joiner will sing "Amazing Grace" and "Just As I Am."  No formal visitation will be held.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  Boone Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
