Alyssa Marie Mackenzie Harris, age 6 months, passed away peacefully as she slept in her home in Caledonia, Mississippi. She was born on October 21, 2013 and met the Eyes of Jesus in the early predawn hours of April 23, 2014. Alyssa is the daughter of Donald Boyd "Sonny" Harris, Jr. And Allison Kaye Studdard, and the sister of Melea Marie Addison Harris, all of Caledonia, Mississippi and Lenox, Georgia.

In the sweetness and innocence or her precious, brief life, Alyssa Marie reminded us every day how precious and perfect the blessing of family, love , and home truly are. She was God's gift, a beautiful ray of sunshine straight from Heaven to our Hearts and she filled our lives with the purest of God's earthly love and joy.

Alyssa's paternal grandparents are the Reverend Don and Susie (Rutland) Harris of Lenox, Georgia; her maternal grandparents, Roger Dale Studdard of Caledonia, Mississippi and Ann Marie (Kaye) Studdard of Columbus, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, sister, and grandparents, Alyssa Marie is also survived by four paternal aunts, Ashley Harris of Tifton, GA, Nancy Harris Burns of Winter Park, FL, Melea (Ricky Perry) Petty of Norman Park, GA, and Renee Petty (Jason) Mizell of Hahira, GA; two paternal uncles, Andrew (Brittney) Harris of Dawsonville, GA and Kyle (Michelle) Harris of Eunice, LA; one maternal aunt, Danika Studdard (Cecil) Meeks and one maternal uncle, Erik Studdard, all of Columbus, MS. Alyssa's 18 cousins served as her honorary pallbearers: Wesley Gills, Kanda Caston, Easton Jett, Seph Harris, Vash Harris, Alex Harris, Eve Harris, Josh (Haleigh) Adamson, Liam Adamson, Storm Cooper, River Miller, Lexie Mizell, Rachel Burns, William Burns, Jay Harris, Zach Harris, Bryce Meeks, and Arianna Meeks.

Private graveside services were held Thursday with burial at the Rutland Family Cemetery in Tift County. Alyssa's Grandfather, the Rev. Don Harris, officiated.

Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus, MS and Boone Funeral Home in Adel, GA were in charge of arrangements.
