Mrs. Angela Marie "Angie" Fender, 37, of Blackshear, Georgia passed away on July 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1981 in Gainesville, Florida to Matthew and Pam C. Westbrook. Mrs. Fender lived in Sparks, Georgia and the last three years in Blackshear. She was of the Baptist faith and an was an EMT and a LPN Hospice nurse formerly with Grace Hospice.
She is survived by her husband, Michael "Mike" Fender of Blackshear; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Corey and Tiffany Fender of Valdosta, Georgia; Tanner and Stacie Fender of Nashville, Georgia and Tyler Fender of Blackshear; three grandchildren: Braden, Kaylee and Maybree Fender, all of Nashville; her parents, Matthew and Pam C. Westbrook of Ellijay, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Katie Westbrook and their children, Luke and Amelia of Cumming, Georgia; her mother-in-law, Mary Fender and brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Fender, Jr. of Sparks.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Interment followed at Brushy Creek Church Cemetery in Cook County. The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home. Special musical selections played at the service were "In the Garden," "Dancing in the Sky" and "Sissy's Song." Corey Fender, Tanner Fender, Tyler Fender, Mark Westbrook, Christian Fender and Billy Fender served as pallbearers.
