Mrs. Arline Gandy, 60, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away on September 20, 2020, at her home.  She was born on March 11, 1960, in Tift County to the late Curtis Phelix Parkerson and Alma Steward Kernals Parkerson.  Mrs. Gandy lived most of her life in Tift County and was a former employee with Prestolite Wire in Tifton, Georgia.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Gandy is survived by her husband, Jobie "Joe" L. Gandy, Sr. of Lenox; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jamie and Melissa Parkerson of O'Brien, Florida, Jobie L. Gandy, Jr. and Meagan Gandy of Ray City, Georgia, and Joshua Gandy of Lenox; one granddaughter, Payton Nevaeh Parkerson of O'Brien, Florida; two sisters: Teresa Henderson of Smiths Station, Alabama, and Tracey Boyd of Enigma, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Khrista Noel Parkerson, and one brother, Curtis Allen Parkerson.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Lenox City Cemetery with Rev. Landon Alberson officiating.  Pallbearers were Justin McBrayer, Brandon Canaday, Morgan Stinton, Thomas Boyd, Michael Stinton and Ronnie Boyd, Jr.  Special musical selections played at the service were "Remember When," "Wind Beneath My Wings," "Precious Memories," "Amazing Grace," "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" and "Dancing In The Sky."  Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home South.
