Mrs. Betty L. Hall, 84, of Hahira, Georgia, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 22, 1931 to the late Hobson P. and Stella McCloud Smith. She was a member of Cecil Baptist Church and worked as a homemaker.
Mrs. Hall is survived by four children and their spouses: Sheila Fulp of Hahira, Gwen and Tony Bernard of Orlinda, Tennessee, Debbie and Dan Green of Orlinda, Ricky and Susan Bennett of Hahira; a step-son, Travis Hall of Hahira; seven grandchildren and their spouses: Renee and John Brisk of Adel, Georgia, Amanda and Tony Holt of Roanoke, Texas, Steve and Julie Bernard of Orlinda, Scott and Jennifer Bernard of Hodgenville, Kentucky, Harris Green and fiancée Melissa Edwards of Orlinda, Stephanie and Kyle McDaniel of Hahira, and Stephen Bennett of Hahira; nine great-grandchildren: Will, Torie, and Leah Brisk, Hunter Fulp, Josh, Justin, and Jason Holt, Luke Bernard, and Sutton McDaniel; and a brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Marie Smith of Keystone Heights, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hinton "Cubby" Bennett; her second husband, Arvell Wesley Hall; a grandson, Lee Fulp; a son-in-law, Billy Fulp; three brothers: Cecil, H.P. and Albert Smith; and a sister, Juanita Harris.
Mrs. Hall's family will receive friends Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hendley and Mr. Dan Green officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Church Cemetery. Scott Bernard, Steve Bernard, Harris Green, Stephen Bennett, Will Brisk, Kyle McDaniel and Hunter Fulp will serve as pallbearers. Special selections to be played at the service will be "Beulah Land", "In the Garden" and "It Is Well With My Soul". In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cecil Baptist Church, 7 Union St., Cecil, Georgia 31627.
