Mrs. Betty Sue Harnage Bryan, 88, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on June 4 , 2020.  She was born in Lanier County although she lived most of her life in Cook County.  Mrs. Bryan was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Marion Harnage and Clara Thornton Harnage.  She was also preceded by her husband of 66 years, Earl B. Bryan and a son, Donnie Walton Bryan.  Mrs. Bryan had three brothers: Maston, Clarence and Howard; and two sisters: Inez and Gladys, all now deceased.  She leaves behind three sons and their wives: Thomas and Ann Bryan, Troy and Delores Bryan, and Darrell and Karen Bryan, all of Adel.  She also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated and interred with her husband at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  A memorial service was held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home.  Rev. Johnny Hendley officiated and Mr. Thomas Bryan provided the eulogy.  Special musical selections played at the service were "Mansion Over the Hilltop," "One Day at a Time," "No Tears in Heaven" and "I Want Us to be Together in Heaven."  The family is requesting no flowers, however, donations may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Mrs. Bryan.
