Ms. Betty Ann Moore, age 72 of Berlin, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on October 4th 2018. She was born October, 17th, 1945 in Cook County to the late Harvey and Clara Mae Vickers of Sparks, Georgia. She was a homemaker and also worked for Metal Products in Adel and was a school bus driver for the Colquitt County School System.
Ms. Moore is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy and Scott Rowan of Oxford, Georgia and Crysti Moore of Berlin; two granddaughters, Claire and Ella Rowan; three sisters: Jean Radney, Carolyn Hamner, Betty Jo Prine; and two brothers, Robert Vickers and C.H. Vickers. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Vickers.
The family received visitors at Springhead Baptist on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:30 PM until time of service. The funeral service began at 4:00 PM with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Springhead Church Cemetery. Greg Folsom, Chuck Gray, John Henry Surrency, Stacy Edwards, Stanley Storey and Render Folsom served as pallbearers. Carolyn Gray played piano; Render and Fredda Folsom sang "I'll Fly Away," "The Old Rugged Cross" and "It Is Well With My Soul."
