Mr. Billy Mainor, 57, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.  The son of the late John Batie Mainor and Annie Delores Parrish Mainor, he was born in Adel, Georgia, on October 29, 1962.  Mr. Mainor lived all of his life in Cook County where he was a member of Lenox Baptist Church.  He was employed with Roadway in Valdosta for 28 years.

Mr. Mainor is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Davis and Hayden Mainor, of Lenox; his daughter and son-in-law, Kalianne and Tony Porter, of Hahira, Georgia; two grandchildren: Batie Issac Mainor of Lenox and Skyler Porter of Hahira; there is also another grandchild on the way due in January 2020, Lilla Grace Porter; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: David and Donna Mainor, Britt and Lora Mainor, all of Adel, and Brian Mainor of Hahira; a sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Timmy Norman, of Moultrie, Georgia; and his children's mother, Lisa Mathis Mainor, of Adel.

The funeral service for Mr. Mainor was conducted at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Springhead Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  Woody Hazel, Jason Cone, Johnny Wade, David Folds, Greg Folsom and Morris Myers served as active pallbearers; Billy's hunting friends and their families served as honorary pallbearers.  Steve Meders sang "Home Where I Belong" and "Midnight Cry;" Lisa Folsom played piano for the prelude and postlude of the service.  The family received friends for visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Boone Funeral Home South.  Condolences may be expressed to the Mainor family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  --Boone Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the family of Mr. Mainor.
