Mrs. Blanche Perryman Lindsey, 94, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on May 17, 2018 at Cook Medical Center in Adel. She was born on August 8, 1923 in Louvale, Georgia to Leslie Winifred Perryman and Prince Ella Anderson Perryman. She lived most of her life in Cook County where she served her family as a homemaker and was a member of Sparks United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lindsey is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Leslie Winifred "Sonny" Lindsey and his wife, Carol, of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Rodney Mayo Lindsey of Adel; a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Kenneth Miller of Jacksonville, Florida; six grandchildren: Kimberly Miller of Jacksonville, Matthew Miller of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Les Lindsey of Spartanburg, Reid Lindsey of Spartanburg, Ryan Lindsey of Leesburg, Florida and Justin Lindsey of Albany, Georgia; two great-grandchildren: Eli Miller of Green Cove Springs and Hunter Lindsey of Spartanburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Chandler and Norma Jean Perryman of Newnan, Georgia; and a sister and brother-in-law, LaNell and Earl Barnes of Holbrook, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mayo Lindsey, and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lindsey was held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Sparks United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Sovine officiating. Interment followed at Leila Church Cemetery in Colquitt County. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Les Lindsey, Reid Lindsey, Ryan Lindsey, Justin Lindsey, Matthew Miller and Michael Perryman served as pallbearers.
