Mr. Boyd Meeler, 74 of Nashville, Georgia, passed away August 11, 2020, at The Life Care Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.  He was born December 31, 1945 in Morgan County, Georgia, to the late Carl Franklin Meeler and Della Mae Massey Meeler.  Mr. Meeler lived most of his life in Cook and Berrien Counties.  He was retired from Adel Tire Co. and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Meeler was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he served two tours in Viet Nam.

Mr. Meeler is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Bill and Stacey Meeler of Melbourne, Florida; Mickey and Carlene Meeler, Jake and Jennifer Meeler all of Nashville; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers: Tony Meeler of Sparks, Georgia, Tommy Meeler of Lenox, Georgia and Franklin Meeler of Adel, Georgia; three sisters: Mildred Mercer, Mary Ann Sheldon and Gladys Weeks all of Sparks.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Darlene Phillips Meeler and two brothers, Rayburn Meeler and Carter Meeler.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Westview Cemetery in Nashville, Georgia with Rev. Phil Turner officiating.  Interment followed the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
