Mr. Brentwood "Wayne" Lovett, Sr., 81, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on  December 28, 2020.  He was born on February 8, 1939, in Sparks, Georgia to the late Paul Franklin Lovett and Delma Theodora May Lovett.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

Mr. Lovett is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Lisa Lovett of Cartersville; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Lance Walker of Cumming, Georgia; four granddaughters: Elizabeth Lovett, Emmalie Lovett, Charley Walker, and Addison Walker.  Several nephews also survive.

A service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the chapel of Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Sparks, Georgia with Elder Dwight Marshall officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday inside the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.  Interment will follow.  The following men will serve as pallbearers: Chris Lovett, Billy Joe Lovett, Clifford Lovett, Lance Walker, Randall Smith and Mason Holmes. T he family would like everyone to wear a mask and practice social distancing due to the Covid-19 virus.
