Mr. C. Harold Griffin, 82 of Kingston, Georgia passed away on May 14, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Griffin was born October 5, 1939 in Hahira, Georgia to the late Howard Griffin and Carrie Mar Kelly Griffin. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Jean Boyd Griffin and four siblings, Mildred McGill, Harvey Griffin, Billy Griffin and Sarah Suttles. Mr. Griffin received his bachelor's degree in Sociology from Valdosta State University. He began his career with the State of Georgia in 1964 as a Health Services Program Representative and retired in 1996 as Northwest Georgia 10 County Principle Communicable Disease Specialist. Mr. Griffin was a member of the Barnsley United Methodist church.

Survivors include his two children , Georgia Griffin Morris of Kingston and Jim Griffin of Kennesaw, Georgia; five grandchildren, Alezandra Keene (Kameron) of Canton, Georgia; Duncan Morris of Charlotte, North Carolina; David Morris of Eastman, Georgia; Brandon Griffin and Holly Griffin both of Kennesaw, several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Griffin was cremated and a Celebration of Life was held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Barnsley United Methodist Church.  A Memorial Service was held at 12:00 PM on July 9, 2022 at the New Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hahira, Georgia with Rev. Mike Davis officiating.
