Mrs. Carol Jewell, age 70, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away at her home on June 14, 2022.  She was the daughter of Henry Ernest Viens, Sr. and Virginia Lee Webster Viens.  Mrs. Jewell was born in Maryland on September 20, 1951 and has lived in Berrien County since 1987.  She was a member of The Nashville Mission and a retired LPN with the Berrien County Hospital.

Mrs. Jewell is survived by her husband, Grady Jewell, Sr. of Nashville; a son, Kelvin Jewell of San Antonio, Texas; and a brother, Ellis Ray Starling of Brunswick, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Grady Jewell and Grady Jewell, Jr., and a daughter, Michelle Lee Jewell Dowdy.

A memorial service is currently being planned but the details have not been finalized.
