Mr. Chris Griner, 50, of Tifton died suddenly on May 19, 2024 in Forest Park, Georgia.  He was born on January 14, 1974 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late William Terry Griner and Annie Laura Bennett Griner.  Mr. Griner lived all of his life in Cook and Tift Counties.  He was a truck driver for Big G Trucking in Tifton, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Griner is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Cody Griner of Tifton, Alex and Kayla Griner of Tifton; two grandchildren: Kinsley and Avery Griner, both of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Nicole Griner of Adel, Georgia; and one niece, Sara Griner of Adel.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment followed. Tommy Bryant, J.T. Storey, Jim Storey, Eli Fender, and Michael Rodgers served as pallbearers.
