Mr. Chris Allen Martin, 53, of Peachtree City, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2026. Chris was born September 2, 1973, in Hahira, Georgia, to the late Hellen and Leonard Martin, and grew up in Adel. Georgia grown with deep Southern roots, he attended Valdosta State University and earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia. He went on to a successful career as a pharmacist for nearly 30 years.
Chris was pure-hearted, hardworking, loyal, and adventurous. To his family, he was simply their rock. Everything he did was for his wife and children. He was a provider in every way. Including a loving home and the greatest of adventures. He was a wonderful friend to so many. Praise God, he was a follower of Jesus.
Chris loved lake life and was happiest on a boat or scuba diving. He played pickleball, tennis, ping pong, chess, cards and board games, loved hiking with his wife, Emily, and enjoyed investing in real estate.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Martin of Peachtree City; his children, Luke Martin MD, Lyndsay Martin, Lance Martin, and Lily Martin; his stepsons, Landon Hirsch and Maddox Hirsch; his brothers, Bryan Martin and Doug Martin of Adel, and his nephew, Drew Martin; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Brad Mate, and their daughters, Sophia, Bridget, and Molly, of Peachtree City; his sister-in-law, Cheryl Lundblad, and her daughters, Xanthe (Bam and son Atlas)and Azure, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his mother-in-law, Janice Larson, and stepfather-in-law Anthony Drier, of Corpus Christi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hellen and Leonard Martin, sister-in-law Katrina Lyn Martin, and father-in-law Gary Lundblad.
A funeral service and graveside prayer will be held on Sunday, October 4th at 4pm at Adel Church of God with Rev. Ashley Way, Mr. William Baldree and Mr. Ethan Rountree officiating. Visitation will take place at the church beginning at 3pm prior to the service. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
