Clara "Miss Clara" Patten Morris, 91, of Adel, Georgia, passed away March 9, 2015 at her home. She was born April 5, 1923 in Cook County to the late W.F. Patten and Mamie Baker Patten. She lived her entire life in Cook County, was a member of Massee Baptist Church, and worked as a homemaker.

Miss Clara is survived by her son, Timmy Morris of Adel; a granddaughter, Jynger Morris Huling and her husband, Al, of Hahira, Georgia; and a grandson, Jason Patten Morris of Montgomery, Alabama. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Bertha Perez special caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Roy, Gilbert, and Fred Patten; and a sister, Clyde Thacker.

A graveside funeral service for Miss Clara will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Woodlawn City Cemetery with Rev. Gary James officiating. The family will receive friends immediately prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 am at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel.
