Mr. Craig Crosby, 61, of Meigs, Georgia, formerly of Sparks, Georgia, passed away on December 30, 2020, at his residence.  Mr. Crosby was born on January 31, 1959, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Henry Edward Crosby and Estelle Matilda Lamb Crosby.  He lived most of his life in Cook County and was a retired contractor with CAC Construction. He was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife, Joy Causey Crosby of Meigs; one daughter, Gina Hayes Cook, and one grandson, Kyle Cook, both of Adel, Georgia; one step-son, Landon Glover of Meigs, and one step-daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Roy Madden of Quincey, Florida; one brother, Tony Crosby of Georgia, and two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Carolyn C. and Gene Sanders, Sr. of Moultrie, Georgia, and Linda C. and Randy Strange of Pike Road, Alabama; three sisters-in-law: Sharon Crosby of Crossland, Georgia, Betty Crosby of Pavo, Georgia, and Joyce Crosby of Moultrie.  He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Rosemary Danforth Crosby; one son, Adam Crosby; two sisters, Ellen Cooper and Edna Autrey; and five brothers: Edward Crosby, Billy Kenneth Crosby, Henry Eugene Crosby, Richard Crosby and Donnie Crosby.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2021, at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Morrison officiating.  Interment will follow.  Visitation will be conducted at Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia 31620) from 1:00 to 1:45 PM on Monday prior to the service. The family requests that masks be worn and for all attendees to practice social distancing due to the Covid virus.
