Ms. Cynthia Parker, 29, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2019, at her residence.   She was born in Albany, Georgia on January 22, 1990.  Ms. Parker had made Valdosta her home for the past eight years.  She always had a positive spirit, that always brought smiles to the face of everyone she encountered.  She loved animals, going shopping and listening to Bruno Mars.  She was an active player in the Miracle League Softball games.  Ms. Parker is survived by her guardians, Janice and Marcus Blanchard of Valdosta, her Easter Seals family, and all of her wonderful friends at her residence.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.) in Adel with Dr. Danny Ray officiating.  Interment followed at Wilkes Cemetery with a balloon release.  "Amazing Grace" and "Dancing in the Sky" were played at the service.

Cynthia, was an amazing young lady. She met the challenge of each day, and did not let her physical limitations define her. She loved playing sports, animals, going shopping and of course defending her spot at the front door at home.
