Mr. Dale Horne, age 61, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on February 19, 2025 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.  He was born in Nashville, Georgia on September 10, 1963 to the late James Troy Horne and Lavenia Ray Horne.  Mr. Horne lived in Cook County most of his life and was retired from Target Distribution where he served as an utility attendant.

Mr. Horne is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Justin and Katie Horne of Hahira, Georgia, Sheldon and Tiffany Horne of Valdosta, and Tyler Horne of Adel; his mother, Lavenia Ray Horne of Adel; and a brother, Donnie Horne of Nashville, Georgia. Two nieces, Stephanie Griffin and Victoria Adams, both of Adel.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Timmy Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday; February 21, 2025 at Boone Funeral Home; 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia.
