Mrs. Darlene Moore Lipsey, age 61, of Adel, Georgia passed away November 9, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.  Mrs. Lipsey was born December 15, 1961 in Lowndes County to the late Kenneth L. Moore and Annie Jo Harper Moore.  She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and lived most of her life in Cook County.  She was a sales representative with Hershey Chocolate Company.

Mrs. Lipsey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Lindsey Kaye Lipsey of Nashville, Georgia; five grandchildren: L. J. Jones, Carolyn Jones, Landon Jones, Brantley Lipsey and Makilee Harper Lipsey, all of Nashville; her life partner, Joey Bennett of Adel; one brother, Randy L. Moore of Cullman, Alabama; one sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Dusty Key of Adel; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Moore.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday; November 12, 2023 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Morris and Mr. Keith Howze officiating.  Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  Visitation took place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.
