Mr. David Wayne Fennell, 47, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away June 9, 2016 in Concord, North Carolina. He was born May 26, 1969 in Valdosta and worked as a painter in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his father, Windell Wayne Fennell and his grandfather, Mayo Webb.

Mr. Fennell is survived by his daughter, Cassie Lynn Fennell of Valdosta; his mother and step-father, Linda Webb Woodcock and Joel David Woodcock of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Debbie Fennell Smith of Jacksonville; his grandmother, Earline Webb of Sparks, Georgia; a niece and her husband, Jennifer and Johnathan McCann and their children: Madison, Matthew and Rilee, all of Ocala, Florida; two nephews: Justin Roy Smith and Thomas Jeremy Smith of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel) with Rev. Charles Blair officiating. The family received friends at Boone Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service. Steve Meders sang "Midnight Cry" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain".
