Rev. David L. Stafford, 32, of Lenox, Georgia passed away April 17, 2016. Rev. Stafford was born in Tifton, Georgia on March 5, 1984 to his parents Curtis and Tammie Dillard Stafford. Rev. Stafford was a minister of the word of God and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Rev. Stafford is survived by his parents: Curtis and Tammie Dillard Stafford of Lenox; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Will and Terri Stafford of Lenox, Patrick and Jennifer Stafford of Sparks, Georgia; maternal grandfather, Jim Aubrey Dillard of Sparks; paternal grandparents: Bill and Linda Stafford of Atlanta, Georgia and Mike Shultz of Miami, Florida; his "Special Children", his nieces and nephews: Helena, Lilly, Josh, Brayden and Maggie. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 20, 2016, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Avenue in Adel, Georgia. The funeral service will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016 at Lakeview Baptist Church in Lenox with Dr. Stanley Hendricks officiating and Mr. Billy Greene providing the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Will Stafford, Patrick Stafford, Bill Mitchell, Tony Zeman, Will Bromlow and Zack Seymour; honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Lakeview Baptist Church. The Georgia Boys Quartet will sing "How Great Thou Art", "Look For Me At Jesus Feet" and "If You Knew Him". Susie Betts will play piano and Jackie Wetherington will play organ. The special selection "East to West" by Casting Crowns will also be played at the service.
