Mr. David William Terry, 56, of Lenox, Georgia, passed away at his home on May 12, 2021.  He was born on March 12, 1965, in Duval County, Florida, but lived most of his life in Cook County, Georgia.  Mr. Terry was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Terry is survived by his wife, Tammie Harper Terry; his daughter, Heather Terry; his mother and step-father, Marilyn V. Spires Barber and Gene Barber; a brother, Wayne Terry, all of Lenox; and four sisters: Linda Wall of Norman Park, Georgia, Betty Russell of Tifton, Georgia, Becky Kenyon of Hahira, Georgia, and Barbara Wimberly of Valdosta, Georgia.

The family received friends from 6:00 until 9:00 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, Georgia).  The funeral service for Mr. Terry was held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Lenox Christian Fellowship in Lenox with Rev. Jimmie Hinson officiating.  Ms. Heather Terry, Mrs. Celeste S. Beaumont and Mr. Chad Sumner provided the eulogies.  Interment followed at Pinegrove Church Cemetery.  Special music for the funeral service included "I Can Only Imagine," "Jealous of the Angels," "How Great Thou Art" and "Dancing in the Sky."  John Sumner, Chad Sumner, Chase Daughtrey, Jason Lane, Davis Mainor and Thomas Sumner served as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers included Ronnie Sumner (in remembrance), Brian and Susan Sumner, Celeste S. and Mike Beaumont, Ray Gene Sumner, Guy Daughtrey, Tom Daughtrey, Randy Lane, Everett Rowan, Ismael Bautista Sr. and Ismael Bautista Jr.  Condolences may be expressed to the Terry family online at www.boonefunerals.com .  Boone Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
