Mr. Delmas Griner, 80, of Madison, Florida, formerly of Adel, Georgia, passed away on April 18, 2021, at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care in Tallahassee, Florida.  He was born on May 14, 1940, in Jesup, Georgia, to the late Leroy Griner and Verdie Belle Connell Griner.  Mr. Griner lived most of his life in Cook County and the past 30 years in Madison, Florida.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Madison, Florida.

Mr. Griner is survived by his nieces: Melissa and Keith Evans of Lake Park, Georgia, Teresa Allen of Tallahassee, Florida, Diana Allen of Lakeland, Georgia; his nephew, Terry Pazel and one brother-in-law, Louis Pazel, both of Lugoff, South Carolina; special friend, Rhonda Dowdy of Madison, Florida; and a host of cousins.

A graveside service was held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Brushy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Mitchell and Rev. Billy Rice officiating.  Interment followed.  "Amazing Grace," "I'll Fly Away" and "On the Wings of a Dove" were played at the service.
