Mr. Donald James "Jim" Ottman, Jr. 63 of Adel Georgia passed away June 27, 2015 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. Mr. Ottman was born July 28, 1951 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Donald James, Sr. and Dorothy Shields Ottman. He has lived the past 21 years in Adel. Mr. Ottman was of the Christian faith and retired from sales and marketing. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Ottman is survived by his wife Sandra Jones Ottman of Adel; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jimi and Sherri Ottman of Adel, Daniel Bowen of Utah; two daughters and son-in-law; Danielle and Russell Stripling, Jr. of Adel; Jessica Ottman of Hahira, Georgia; one brother, Drew Ottman of Daytona Beach, Florida and his sister, Debbie Mitchell of Ormond Beach, Florida and 7 grandchildren,

A private Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home; 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Georgia. In keeping with Mr. Ottman's wishes he was cremated.
