Mr. Earl Hancock, 75 of Sparks, Georgia passed away January 7, 2015 at Tift Regional Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Julius Cleo Hancock and Gladys Rentz Hancock. Mr. Hancock lived most of his life in Cook County and was a member of the Adel Church of Christ and retired from Production Anodizing.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jana Hancock of Hahira, Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Steve Newbern of Hahira, and Kathy and Tommy Robinson of Keaton Beach, Florida; five grandchildren: Kenneth and Heather Meeler of Lenox, Georgia, Savannah Davis of Douglas, Georgia, Adriona Newbern, Westin Hancock, and Carter Lane Hancock, all of Hahira; four great-grandchildren: Baylee Meeler and Lexis Meeler of Lenox, and Kaylee Davis and Levi Davis of Douglas; and one brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Phyllis Hancock of Macon, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cleo Hancock.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. James Young officiating. Wayne and Mary Nell Boyette sang " It Is Well ", "Peace In The Valley", and " Where The Soul Never Dies." Pallbearers: Raymond Dorminey, Jimmy Young, Woodrow Hancock, Jamie Rountree, Ricky Davis and Kenny Davis. Interment followed at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County.
