Obituary

Mr. Eddie Lee Hall, 69, of Sparks, Georgia passed away May 3, 2016 at the Malcolm Randall VA Center in Gainesville, Florida. He was born April 5, 1947 to his late parents, Harvey Jordan Hall and Ruth Virginia McCall Hall. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He farmed with Pineland Plantation in Baker County, retired from John Deere in Albany as shop supervisor and also previously worked at Southeastern Supply in Sparks.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Philia Bradbury Hall of Sparks; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd Jordan and Cara Hall of Liberty, Missouri; and a daughter and son-in-law, Mara Ruth and Jason Kelly of Columbus, Georgia; four grandchildren: Leah Ruby Hall and Owen Theodore Hall of Liberty, Missouri, Olivia Todd Kelly and Jason Mitchum Kelly, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia; four step-children: Andy Bickers of McDonough, Georgia, Todd Bickers of Sparks, Kristie (Mark) Whitaker of Adel and Kelly (Stacy) Griffin of Adel; nine step-grandchildren: Brandi Bickers, Bailey Bickers, Noah Bickers, Emily Bickers, Zella Bickers, Morgan Whitaker, Jordan Whitaker, Dillon Griffin and Taylor Griffin; a great-granddaughter: Charleigh Sumner; and a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Georgene Hall of Dade City, Florida; and is survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hall and a sister, Verdie Mae Rogers.

A memorial service for Mr. Hall was conducted Saturday May 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. A.J. Hall, Rev. William Davis and Rev. Mike Brannon officiating. Jimmy Rountree, Monese Whitaker and Linda Strickland sang "Rock of Ages" and "In the Garden". In lieu of flowers please make honorariums to The Nora/South Georgia Veterans Health System Fisher House at www.northflorida.va.gov.
