Mrs. Ernie Mae Napier Spires, 71, of Enigma, Georgia, passed away June 14, 2016 at Cook Senior Living Center in Adel, Georgia. She was born On May 25, 1945 in Bartow, Florida to her late parents, Albert Wilson Napier, Sr. and Mary Ellen Stern Napier. She lived in Georgia the past 30 years and served her family as a homemaker.
Mrs. Spires is survived by a son, Johnny Johnson of Lake Wales, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Edward Daniels Jr. of Enigma; and nine grandchildren: Charles Noah Johnson, Lindsay Atkins, Amber Crum, Ashley Pate, Donnie Crum Jr., Johnny Johnson Jr., Rossland Johnson, Willie Harrison and Rebecca Harrison; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Tallman Johnson, Jr.
A graveside service was held Saturday June 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Fellowship Church Cemetery with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. The family received friends at Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel) from 2:00 to 3:30 PM immediately prior to the graveside service. "Precious Memories" and "I've Got My One-Way Ticket to the Sky" were special musical selections played at the service.
