Mrs. Etta Horne Faggioni, age 68, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at her home on October 15, 2022.  She was born in Hahira, Georgia on July 1, 1954 and her parents were the late George Pate Horne, Jr. and Mary Frank Felts Horne.  Mrs. Faggioni lived most of her life in Cook County and was retired from the Colquitt County Board of Education where she served as the Special Education Director.  She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church in Colquitt County.

Mrs. Faggioni is survived by her husband, Matthew "Matt" Faggioni of Adel; two daughters: Regina and Dave Bannister of Norman Park, Georgia, and Amanda Adams and her fiancé Joey Riggins of Adel; five grandchildren: Savannah Rae and T.J. Miller of Jasper, Florida, Madison Nicole Faircloth of Norman Park, Mary Elizabeth Adams of Adel, Allie Payton Adams of Adel and Bo Bannister of Norman Park; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Alan Horne of Red Rock, Texas, and Kevin and Teresa Horne of Sanford, North Carolina; a sister, Angelina Brown and her significant other, Tommy Munden of Moultrie, Georgia; special nephew, Gabe Horne; and several other nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mrs. Faggioni took place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Marshall, Elder Jim Sandlin and Elder Barry Marshall officiating.  Interment followed at the church cemetery.  Visitation was held on Monday evening, October 17, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.  Pallbearers included Josh Carter, Chad Carter, Tony Betts, Johnny Sansbury, Joey Riggins and T.J. Miller.  Special musical selections include "Amazing Grace" and Hymn Number 492.
