Eva Nell Lasseter Mayo, Loving Mother and Grandmother, born December 8, 1922, Cook County, GA, daughter of Crawford and Leila O'Quinn Lasseter. Ms. Mayo passed away peacefully after a long illness on September 10, 2016. Pre-deceased by husbands Tennyson C. Johnson and Marius Briggs. She leaves behind her only son Chuck Johnson (Julie) of Saint Augustine, FL; grand-daughter Caitlin McWilliams (Toby Kyle) of Jacksonville, FL; sister Joyce Rayburn, Augusta, GA; step-daughter Sue Gray; Johnny Mayo, and several nieces and nephews.

From a very young age Nell had a love for cooking, sewing, and quilting and continued this activity most all of her life. She had a love for all she met and never met a stranger. She spent her early years volunteering as a Cub Scout leader, she was breast cancer survivor and counselor, home extension volunteer in Bay County, and participated in many activities in her community of West Bay, FL.
