Mrs. Evelyn R. Walker, 80, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on April 15, 2019 at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta. She was born in Alapaha, Georgia on July 14, 1938 and lived most of her life in Valdosta. Her parents were Bruce and Rachel Taylor Rowe. Mrs. Walker and her late husband, Earl, were the retired owners/operators of The New Knights in Valdosta.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her two daughters: Angela and Billy Greene of Adel, Georgia, and Pam Ringos and Larry Tanner, both of Valdosta; five grandchildren and their spouses: Kemp and Mary Carol Greene of Lakeland, Georgia, Jessie and Kevin Woodkowski of Savannah, Georgia, Mikey Sims, Dalton Sims and Kaitlyn Sims, all of Valdosta; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Vivian Rowe of Valdosta; nieces: Sandra McNeil, Kim Dular, Robin Gay, Misty Rowe, Chrystal Martinez, Terrie Rowe and Cindy White; nephews: Jay McClelland, Dennis Webb and Michael Webb; two brothers-in-law: Lester Mulligan and Cliff McClelland; and two special friends: Alison Stokes and James Ware. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Walker; a sister, Mary Mulligan; and a brother, J.B. Rowe.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel with Rev. John Stephens, III, officiating. No formal visitation will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in honor of Mrs. Walker to the charity of your choice.
