Mr. Franklin "Frankie" Stripling, age 66, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on September 5, 2024 at First Commerce Center for Compassionate Care in Tallahassee, Florida.  He was born in Sunnymead, California.  Mr. Stripling's late parents were Lee Vernon Stripling and Audrey Nell Folsom Stripling.  He was retired from Harvey's Supermarkets where he served in many capacities including Assistant Manager.

Mr. Stripling is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Brandy and Brian Connell, Brittany and Josh Brooks, Brooke and Virgil Deberry, all of Adel; three grandchildren: Audrey Connell and her boyfriend Dee Walton, Virgil "D.J." DeBerry, and Emery DeBerry, all of Adel; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Phyllis and Barry Fogg of Pearl River, Louisiana, Debra and Mike Stanford of Biloxi, Mississippi, Denise and Kenny Champagne of Metairie, Louisiana.

A graveside funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Folsom Cemetery with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating.  The family  received friends and family Monday evening, September 9, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel.  Brian Connell, Josh Brooks, Virgil DeBerry, Kasey Flowers, Travis Flowers and Phillip Corbin served as pallbearers.  "Freebird " was played at the service.
