Mrs. Gloria Rowan, 70, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on January 5, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.  Mrs. Rowan was born on January 8, 1950, in Berrien County to the late Joseph Andrew Brown and Elizabeth Odell Sumner Brown.  She was a retired paper deliverer for the Valdosta Daily Times and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Rowan is survived by her son, Chris Rowan of Nashville, Georgia; three grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Ann Brown of Adel; an uncle and aunt, Doc and Hazel Sumner of Nashville; two nephews: Roger Brown of Sparks, Georgia and Russell Brown of Adel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown, and three brothers: Billy Derrell Brown, Robert Julian Brown and James Edward Brown.
