Mrs. Helen Marie Blythe McNally, age 80, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on January 26, 2024 at her home.  She was born on December 14, 1943 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late George Oliver Ashworth and Mary Jane Stone Ashworth.  She lived in Orange Park, Florida for many years before moving to Valdosta twenty years ago.  She was a homemaker.

Mrs. McNally is survived by her son, Van Bullard of Adel, Georgia; two daughters: Tracy Payne of Calhoun, Georgia and Donna Kay Hudson of Valdosta; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Grooms of St. Petersburg, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Richard McNally; her granddaughter, Hannah Thomas; three brothers: Waymon Ashworth, Charles Ashworth, Bobby Ashworth; three sisters; Betty Creech, Florence Simpson and Geneva Adams.

A graveside service was held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Hendley officiating.  Interment followed.  Visitation was held before the service at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. from 9:00 to 9:45 AM.
