Mrs. Idell R. Forte, 97 of Adel, Georgia passed away July 12, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta, Georgia following a lengthy illness. She was born in Cook County to the late Frank and Pearl Parrish Register. Mrs. Forte lived most of her life in Cook County, was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Forte.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law: Naomi Cowart, Juanice and Ray McEachin, Lenora and Joe Guess all of Adel; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Elder Thad Marshall officiated. Special music by cd, "Amazing Grace". Active pallbearers: Steve Cowart, David McEachin, Greg Guess, Michael McEachin, Justin Stevens, Rusty Hester and Brian Earl Holly, Jr.. Interment followed in the Woodlawn City Cemetery.
