Mrs. Jacqueline Futch Lipsey, 84 of Adel, Georgia passed away January 27, 2017 at the Cook Senior Living Center. Mrs. Lipsey was born February 2, 1932 in Cook county to the late George Foster Jones and Onnie Mae Hayes Jones where she has lived all of her life. Mrs. "Jackie" as she was known to all had retired from Sissy's Furniture and Gifts. She was a member of the Adel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. "Jackie" is survived by one son, Mark Futch of Adel; three daughters and one son-in-law: Dianne and Tommy Crosby of Adel, Kathi Miller of Tifton, Georgia and Joni Futch of Adel; six grandchildren: Tammy and Rene Cowart of Adel, Josh Miller of Tifton, Brandon Futch of Adel, Brian Futch of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jacob Miller of Tifton, Lauren and Layla Futch of Adel; great grandchildren: Kelly, Ken and Case Lowery of Hahira, Georgia and Kaleb Cowart of Adel, Georgia; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Lavada and Thad Marshall of Adel and Mary Ollie Wildes of Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Billy Futch: one son, Michael Futch and one grandson, Robert Crosby.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Elder Thad Marshall and Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. Interment followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home; 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia.
