Mr. James Raymond Bratcher, age 79, of Adel, Georgia passed away on October 3, 2022 at his residence.  Mr. Bratcher was born on November 16, 1942 in Rome, Georgia to the late James Orren Bratcher and Mary Will Payne Bratcher.  He lived most of his life in Decatur, Georgia and the past two years in Adel.  Mr. Bratcher retired after 30 years with from Superior Printing Company in Atlanta, Georgia and his last place of employment was with Outdoor Lawn Maintenance.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict and was of the Baptist and Church of God faiths.

Mr. Bratcher is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Willard Bratcher of Adel; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Sandy Bratcher of Covington, Georgia; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Shane Henry of Adel; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a sister, Marianna Horan of Lake City, Florida.

Mr. Bratcher's request to be cremated was honored and a Celebration of Life was held at a later date.
