Mr. James Micajah "Jim" Paulk III, 69, of Nashville, Georgia, passed away September 10, 2017 at his son's home in Valdosta. He was born on March 28, 1948 in Valdosta to James Micajah Paulk II and Emily Massengill Paulk, both now deceased. He lived in Adel, Georgia most of his life and was retired from teaching as well as Del-Cook Lumber Company. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University.

Mr. Paulk is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James M. "Little Jim" Paulk IV and Jill Paulk; a daughter, Julie Rogers; four grandchildren: James M. Paulk V, Anabella Paulk, Cole Rogers and Caleb Rogers; all of Adel; and Lyda Paulk, who was the love of his life, of Valdosta.
