Mrs. Jane Gandy, 94 of Sparks, Georgia passed away July 8, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Gandy was born May 22, 1928 at Lenox, Georgia to the late Samuel Thomas Gandy and Sally Taylor Gandy.  She lived 50 years of her life in Albany, Georgia where she worked as a cosmetologist for 41 years before retiring.  She moved back to Cook County after living in Albany.  She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church but had been attending Sparks Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gandy is survived by her son and his wife, Louis Caldwell and Betty Jean Sweat; her daughter, Donna Gene Caldwell all of Sparks; two grandsons; two granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Homer Gandy and Wendell Gandy both of Lenox, Georgia; and one sister, Geneva Pafford.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wayne Giles and two sons, Marvin Caldwell and James Cool.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022 at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tom Rodgers officiating. Interment followed.
