Mr. Jerry Cadwell, 75, of Adel, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home. He was born December 28, 1939, in Sale City, Georgia to his late parents, William Burch Cadwell, Sr. and Eva Lorene Steele Cadwell. He lived most of his life in Cook County where he was a member of Springhead Baptist Church. He was a staple of the Pine Valley Community where he worked for many years as a clerk at the Pine Valley Store which his deceased uncle, Lawrence Cadwell, built. Jerry loved the Pine Valley Community and all of his friends in the area.

Mr. Cadwell is survived by his sister, Jeanette Ricks; a nephew and his wife, Ryan and Tina Gandy; a great-niece, Chelsea Gandy, all of Adel; and a brother, Bill Cadwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Gandy.

The family received friends Sunday evening March 29, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, 1904 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. The funeral service took place Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Harris Whitman and Rev. Joey Taylor officiating; Chelsea Gandy provided the eulogy. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Denny Folsom, Leslie Folsom, Corey Mackie, Scott Mackie, Jody Meeler, and Tommy Hester served as pallbearers.
