Mrs. Jimmie Sue Crumbley, 79, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on October 19, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was born in Coffee County, Georgia on February 17, 1942 and her parents were the late Roscoe and Maysie Vining Leavens. Mrs. Crumbley lived most of her life in Cook County and was retired from Nashville Textile. She was a Christian.
Mrs. Crumbley is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Timmy and Angie Crumbley, and Gondra Crumbley, all of Adel; a daughter, Glenna Patterson of Nashville, Georgia; eight grandchildren: Roscoe and Jessica Patterson of Adel, Samuel and Kaitlyn Patterson of Nashville, Nina Patterson of Adel, Justin and Amber Crumbley of Adel, William Crumbley of Tallahassee, Florida, Jonathan Crumbley of Adel, Jeffrey Stanton of Valleyhead, West Virginia, and Ashley Crumbley of Atlanta, Georgia; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wally Leavens of Adel. She was preceded in death by a son, Spencer Crumbley; two brothers: John Leavens and Dewayne Leavens; and a sister, Rebecca Leavens.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crumbley were held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Roscoe Patterson, Samuel Patterson, Justin Crumbley, William Crumbley, Jonathan Crumbley and Tyler Patterson. Special music for the service included "I Want Us to Be Together in Heaven" and a recording of Mrs. Crumbley's late mother, Maysie Leavens, singing "Amazing Grace." Visitation was conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Boone Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com .
