Mr. Jimmy Bullard, age 78, of Adel, Georgia passed away on September 16, 2024 at the Cypress Pond Care Facility in Tifton, Georgia.  Mr. Bullard was born on May 10, 1946 in Cook County to the late Claude Lawson "Dink" Bullard and the late Isabelle Walker Bullard Jones.  Mr. Bullard lived all of his life in Cook County and was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Community Calvary Holiness Church.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margie Hickey Bullard of Adel; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Jeff and Carla Bullard, Jason Bullard, Jody and Christie Bullard, all of Adel; six grandchildren: Jerred and Marilyn Bullard, Jenny and Ren Hester, Jaclyn and Garrett Heard, Jill Bullard, Brett and Lora Grace Bullard, all of Adel, Bryce and Parker Bullard of Ellenton, Georgia; three great grandchildren: Jackson Bullard, Judd Bullard and Mary Lauren Hester, all of Adel. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jase Carlton Bullard, and  two sisters, Lounell Johnson and Geraldine Bullard.

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the Community Calvary Holiness Church with Rev. Brad Fuller and Rev. Neil Bridges officiating.  Rev. Silas Carver officiated at the graveside.  Interment took place in the Wilkes Cemetery (Church Cemetery) immediately following the service.  Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home in Adel.  Mr. Bullard's grandsons: Jerred Bullard, Brett Bullard, Bryce Bullard, Garrett Heard and Ren Hester served as pallbearers along with nephew, Ben Hickey; special pallbearers were great-grandsons, Jackson Bullard and Judd Bullard.  "Living By Faith" and "Goodness of God" were sung by The Jeremy Spurlock Family.
