Mrs. Joan Thompson, age 90, of Norman Park, Georgia, passed away October 7, 2022 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, Georgia.  She was born on February 5, 1932 in Adel, Georgia to the late Curtis Hinton Bradford and Mozelle Castleberry Bradford.  Mrs. Thompson lived most of her life in Colquitt County and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Moultrie, Georgia.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Vicki Thompson of Leesburg, Georgia, and Darrell and Dianne Thompson of Norman Park; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Johnny Dickerson of Moultrie; six grandchildren: Jeremy and Alda Thompson of Leesburg, Shana Rae and Mark Wertz of Norman Park, Asa Dickerson of Moultrie, Joshua and Jessica Thompson of Norman Park, Nikki and Jay Griffith of Leesburg, Jenna and Benji Alderman of Moultrie; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Bludsworth of Dothan, Alabama.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Jack Thompson, and a brother, Hinton Bradford.

A graveside service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 10 , 2022 at the Baker-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.  Following the service she was placed in her mausoleum beside her husband.
