Mr. Joe Lindsey, 77, of Lenox, Georgia passed away April 19, 2016 at his home. He was born June 17, 1938 in Lenox to his late parents, Joe Brown Lindsey and Lois Virginia Carter Lindsey. He was retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Major and served during the Vietnam War. He was also a retired farmer.

Mr. Lindsey is survived by his son, Zachary Lindsey of Lenox; two daughters: Cynthia Lindsey of Springhill, Tennessee and Sandra Ross of Cool, California; two grandchildren: Emma Lindsey Nieman of Springhill, Tennessee and Claire Lindsey Ross of Cool, California; a brother, Terrell Fredrick Lindsey of Payson, Arizona; and two sisters: Mary Virginia "Jency" Ray and Dale Fordham, both of Lenox.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In keeping with Mr. Lindsey's wishes, he was cremated.
