Mr. John Mark Egolf, age 66, of Sparks, Georgia passed away on January 11, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Egolf was born on January 24, 1957 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to the late John Egolf and Margaret Willglen MacKinnon Egolf. He was a retired truck driver for P & M Trucking of Douglas, Georgia and lived in Cook County for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Douglas Seventh Day Adventist Church in Douglas, Georgia.
Mr. Egolf is survived by his wife Patricia "Patsy" Winser Egolf of Sparks; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: George and Valentina Egolf of Warner Robins, Georgia, Glen Egolf of Orlando, Florida, Barry and Barbara Egolf also of Orlanda; one sister and brother-in-law; Lisa and Ronald Stevens of Douglas; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joyce and Ronnie Gray of Greenville, South Carolina, Billy and Kathy Winser of Adel, Georgia, Susan Collins of Hahira, Georgia, and William Winser of Nashville, Georgia; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Goodwin officiating. Visitation took place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Egolf was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Douglas Seventh Day Adventist Church (P.O. Box 126; Douglas, Georgia 31534).
