Mr. John Cecil "Johnny" Spearman, Jr., 64 of Sparks, Georgia passed away May 27, 2017 in Salida, Colorado. He was born in Hahira, Georgia on December 11, 1952 to the late John Cecil Spearman, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Brown Spearman. He lived most of his life in Cook County. Mr. Spearman served as a County Commissioner and worked many years in the Cook County Probate Court's office. He was a retired Respiratory Therapist and had worked and retired as the Elections Supervisor for Cook County and then Brooks County. Mr. Spearman was of the Methodist Faith and served in the United States Army.

He is survived by one brother, Timmy Spearman of Lenox, Georgia and two sisters and one brother-in-law: Rose Mary and Larry Fossette of Sparks, Georgia; Denise Ashley of Ellijay, Georgia, also several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with Mr. Spearman's wishes he was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
