Mr. Johnny "Cowboy" Liles, age 60, of Tifton, Georgia, passed away on September 30, 2022 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia.  Mr. Liles was born on January 27, 1962 in Tift County to the late Roy Charles Liles and Doris Weldon Croy.  He lived most of his life in Tift County and was retired from Outdoor Service and also the City of Tifton where he was a mechanic.  He attended Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks, Georgia.

Mr. Liles is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Ashley Liles of Tifton; his daughter, Heather Holland and grandson, Daniel Holland both of Lenox; and his step-father, Bobby Ebb Croy of Tifton.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Lenox City Cemetery with Rev. John Bagley officiating. Interment followed. Visitation was held from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at Boone Funeral Home, Inc. (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel, Georgia), prior to the graveside service.  Matthew Liles, Daniel Holland, Jason Kyle Burnette, Greg Nimmo, Zach Nimmo and Stacy Berry served as pallbearers; Tanner Nimmo and Clay Burnette served as honorary pallbearers.  "Amazing Grace" and "I Want to Stroll Over Heaven With You" were played at the service.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials in honor of Mr. Liles be made to https://www.redemptionsparks.com/give.
