Miss Joy Brown, 57, of Sparks, Georgia, passed away Thursday April 20, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was born on March 27, 1960 in Walton, New York to the late Elwyn Russell Brown and Mary Helen Cole Brown. Miss Brown lived in south Georgia since 1983 and worked as a private nurse.

Miss Brown is survived by six brothers and sisters: Elwyn Russell Brown of Sparks, Cathie B. and David Wooledge of Natural Bridge, NY, Ferris J. Brown of Sparks, Susan Marie and Lawrence Halm of Sparks, Mary Brown of Adel, and Dennis Brown of Sparks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Joy was preceded in death by a sister, Norita Brown Sutton.

A memorial service for Miss Brown will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the home of her sister, Susan Halm in Sparks, Georgia.
