Mrs. Judith Pearl "Judy" Parrish, 80, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away Friday July 21, 2017 at the Brunswick Campus of Southeast Georgia Health System. She was born in Adel, Georgia on March 25, 1937 to her late parents, Gordon Franklin Smith and Ellen Marie Bohannon Smith. Mrs. Parrish live in California most of her life until moving to Woodbine, Georgia twenty years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by her son, Frank Parrish, Jr. of Brunswick; two daughters and sons-in-law: Leigh and Tony Briggs of Baldwinsville, NY, and Alesia and Ron Sharpe of North Port, FL; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Leveda Parrish of Texas; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; three brothers: Hubert Smith of Zephyrhills, FL, Dwight Smith of Adel, GA, and Kenny Smith of North Port, FL; and three sisters: Karen Stewart of Bradenton, FL, Sara Jane Alloway of Birmingham, AL and Teresa Kellison of Gray, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Phillip Parrish, Sr.; three brothers: Wilmer "Will" Smith, Billy J. Smith and Jimmy Wayne Smith; and a sister, Latrelle Bridges.
The family received friends Monday July 24, 2017 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Boone Funeral Home South, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. A graveside service followed at 11:00 AM at Longbridge Church Cemetery in Berrien County with Rev. William Davis officiating. Members of the family served as pallbearers.
