Mrs. Judy Daughtrey, 76 of Adel, Georgia passed away September 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Cook County January 13, 1950 to the late John Davidson Crosby and the late Lettie Mae Moore Crosby. She lived all of her life in Cook County and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Daughtrey was a retired Probation Officer with the State of Georgia. Judy loved reading, gardening, and cooking for her family. Above all, Judy relished her role as "Grandmommy," attending every softball game, cross country meet, and theater production her grandchildren participated in, cheering them on with her support and love

Mrs. Daughtrey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Michelle Daughtrey of Adel; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bryan Taylor of Suwannee, Georgia; four grandchildren, Anna Daughtrey and Tom Daughtrey both of Adel; Brynnan Taylor and Genevieve Taylor both of Suwannee, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Judge John D. "Dickie" Crosby and Rose Crosby of Tifton, Georgia; one sister, Shirley Logan of Adel; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home (1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.) with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Jeff Crosby, Ethan Crosby, Nick Griffin, Alan Phelps, Kevin Bennett and Vance Dean will serve as pallbearers. "Go Rest High On That Mountain" will be played at the service.
